2025 "The Colors of Me" 我生命的色彩

The curtain has fallen on another year of the Tian Hong Cross-Cultural Youth Poem and Art Contest.

Guided by this year’s theme, “The Colors of Me,” we received nearly 300 poems and artworks from close to 200 young participants.

Selecting just over 60 winning entries from such a vibrant collection was no easy task. Each young artist brought a unique way of seeing and sensing the world, each with their own artistic or literary style.
Some works were tender and innocent, others mature and profound; some bold, others graceful; some with lofty vision, others with touching details. The joy of experiencing these works — and reading their artist statements — was immense. At times, we almost wished we could simply enjoy without having to judge. But as with any contest, awards must be given.

Since this is a themed competition, works that resonated closely with “The Colors of Me” naturally caught the judges’ attention. Among them, the pieces that felt true, personal, and poured straight from the heart gripped both our eyes and our hearts. In those moments, we were reminded that all artistic forms are merely vessels — what truly pierces through words and images to reach another soul is the spark of the human heart and soul. It may not be perfect, but it carries a living vitality. It recalls to me Li Bai’s famous verse, “Have you not seen the Yellow River’s waters coming from the sky?” and Van Gogh’s Starry Night — without rigid form or flawless light and shadow, yet surging with emotion, striking straight at the soul.

We are deeply grateful to these young creators. In many ways, it feels less like Tian Hong is serving them, and more like they have given us boundless inspiration. In an era of rapid AI advancement, our platform will continue to celebrate human creativity. Humans can create AI, guide AI, and AI can in turn enrich human life. But human creativity should never shrink before AI; rather, it should take wings and soar higher and farther! Our blessings go to all the young poets and artists!
